Hang 2 Certification

        For students who have or are working on or completing their hang 1 certification.  This is a comprehensive course which includes flying skills and classroom requirements necessary for the USHPA hang 2 novice rating.  Requirements can be found under our pilot proficiency rating program on the USHPA website.  Included in the hang 2 Package, but are not limited to…..
  • Unlimited sessions and flights for one calendar year. 
  • Higher, longer flights working on coordinated turns.
  • Speeds to fly.
  • Glide path control.
  • Mountain ground school.
  • First mountain flights.
  • Discounts on equipment if purchased through Susquehanna Flight Park.
  • Classroom requirements are completed when weather conditions keeps us grounded.
  • Mountain flights to be done with personal equipment that the student is familiar with.
  • Come with a group of 6 or more and receive a 20% discount on all intro lessons.  
  • A family of 3 receives 10% off as well.  
  • All equipment is provided.  
  • Lessons start at 9:00am, but we will accommodate your schedule.
  • Bring your favorite bike or ski helmet if you have one, running shoes or sneakers, and long pants.
  • Sorry, there are no refunds or transfers as space is limited.
